This course will engage you in building ubicomp activities.  These will include physical designs, art and graphics, computation, embedded systems and more.  The class objectives are:

  • To help students understand how to design and participate in research prototyping for ubicomp systems
  • To provide students the tools and resources needed to approach a variety of ubicomp design problems;
  • To  engage undergraduate and graduate students together on projects.

There will be no textbook for this course, but you will be expected to do readings handed out by the professor and participate in lectures in class, many of which will come from the Pervasive Computing Tutorias of 2007.
